About Us

My Story
My journey into health and fitness began with a simple curiosity — wanting to understand the body I live in.
As I began experiencing the changes that came with a healthier lifestyle, that curiosity grew into something much deeper. I wanted to understand not just what creates change in the body, but why people struggle to sustain it.
That curiosity eventually led me to make a significant shift from a full-time corporate career into the field of health and wellness. I went on to pursue my work as a Clinical & Sports Nutritionist, Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Wellness Instructor, and began building CDMK Fitness with the intention of helping people approach health in a more meaningful and sustainable way.
CDMK Fitness was also born from an idea I shared with a very dear friend, Chetan Dhande, who, though no longer physically present with us, shared the same passion and enthusiasm for stepping away from conventional career paths and dedicating his abilities to health and fitness. His belief in this vision remains a meaningful part of the story behind CDMK.
Over the past eight years, my understanding of health has continued to evolve. I have come to see that there is no single formula for being healthy. Every individual brings a different body, history, lifestyle, environment, goals and relationship with food and wellbeing.
This journey has also led me to explore the psychological and behavioural dimensions of health, and to train as a Counselling Psychologist. Today, my work brings together nutrition, movement and emotional wellbeing — recognising that sustainable change is often created when we understand the whole person, not just a single aspect of their health.
At CDMK Fitness, my aim is to offer personalised, evidence-based and practical guidance that can fit into real life.
Because health isn't about following a perfect plan.
It is about understanding yourself, making informed choices, and building habits that you can genuinely sustain.
How we work
There is no single formula for good health.
Our approach begins with understanding you — your health history, lifestyle, food habits, goals, challenges and the realities of your everyday life.
From there, we work together to create practical and personalised strategies that can evolve as you do.
1. Understand
We begin with a detailed consultation to understand your health, nutrition, lifestyle, physical activity and goals. Where relevant, we also explore the emotional and behavioural factors that may influence your health and relationship with food.
2. Personalise
Based on your individual needs, we create a personalised plan that may include nutrition guidance, exercise recommendations and lifestyle strategies.
Our recommendations are designed around your preferences, schedule, health needs and what is realistically sustainable for you.
3. Implement
Change happens in everyday life—not just on paper.
We focus on practical steps that you can incorporate into your routine, rather than expecting perfection. The aim is to help you build habits that become sustainable over time.
4. Review & Evolve
Your needs can change as you progress.
Through follow-up consultations, we review what's working, understand the challenges you're facing and adapt your nutrition, exercise and lifestyle recommendations accordingly.
Where appropriate, counselling and emotional wellbeing support can also be incorporated into your journey.
A personalised approach to better health
Whether your goal is improving your nutrition, managing a health condition, changing your relationship with food, improving fitness or simply creating healthier routines, the process begins with understanding where you are today.
Your plan should fit your life — not the other way around.
